What in the hell has this world come to? Are parents men really this ignorant and stupid?! I’m not trying to bash anyone personally or anything, but damn, some of the things that are going on are just baffling. First off…
Why the hell are mothers forgetting their LIVING CHILDREN in the car and not forgetting their cell phones?! Are we kidding right now?? This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of! How stupid could one human being be?! These are the people who shouldn’t be parents!

Let’s think about this for a minute… If a mother is forgetting her children in HER car that SHE put them in and drove with them in, could you just imagine what she forgets to do when she’s at home with her children?! Feeding them? Forgets that she put them in the bathtub?! UGH. God only knows!

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again… There should be a required test of intelligence to be able to reproduce. I mean, you have to take and pass a test to be able to drive, but not when you bring another human life into this world that you are responsible for taking care of and keeping alive?! How does that make any sense at all?!

Since we’re on this topic… Here’s another one of my very blunt opinions.
Mothers who have had 5+ kids and has gotten every single one of them taken away should be required to be sterilized so she can no longer reproduce and ruin another innocent child’s life.

This kind of shit infuriates me, because there are couples out there who really struggle with getting pregnant and would actually make amazing parents…and then we have drug addict people that sleep around and have multiple kids that all get taken by child services or even get aborted… I heard a story from a co working once about someone she knew that had 6 abortions, one after the other. REALLY?!

It’s probably best that I don’t personally know anyone like this because I have no filter and would say how I truly feel….

Rant over… for now. LOL

  1. I agree with this 100%. I even wrote a post saying things similar. I can not for the life of me understand how one forgets their kid in a car! Even on my worst day with exhaustion & brain fog it has never happened to me.

We went to the lake yesterday & this woman put her infant child over the fence into the sand area while she continued to walk around to pay at the entry way. I get it. Babies in car seats are heavy. But WHO DOES THAT? To make it worse, she left the baby in the seat, in the sand while she got in the water. Eye sight or not, in the time it would have taken her to bolt out of the water someone would have been gone with that child.

I am mindblown at some “parents”. I’m not a helicopter mom by any means but I always know where my child is.

I also believe if you receive government assistance there should be a limit of how many kids you can have as well. I understand people fall on hard times. I’ve been there personally. But I see a woman come in every night where I work, and in the 4 years I’ve been working I have never not seen her pregnant. 🙄🤬

    1. Holy crap!!! I would never do that!!! 🤦🤦🤦 What the hell is wrong with these “mothers”?! I agree about the government assistance. I think some women just keep having babies because it gets them government assistance and for longer. Sad.

      1. Oh definitely keeps them getting assistance. I once told one of these girls like hey we’re hiring you should apply and she seriously said “I get more like this than I would working” 🤷‍♀️😯 I really had to bite my tongue on that one. Certain things I can understand like the healthcare benefit of it. But because you make more in government assistance than you would working is just a lazy excuse. Don’t get me wrong I would love to have only had to pay $50 in rent because the government paid the rest. But I am pretty proud of what I’ve accomplished working you know. Even working part time I was able to do the single mom thing without assistance until I ended up in the hospital sick for 2 months.

I get looks when people see me making my daughter pay for something with her own money. I’m like my kid is going to know the value of money and that if she wants something she has to buy it with her money. Mommy and daddy aren’t always going to do it

      2. I would of smacked her. I don’t have tolerance for that nonsense. 🤦🤦

I’ve never had government assistance except when I was pregnant and had Medicaid. That’s it. I’m proud of that too. I’ve always worked and made my own money since I was 15!

I think you are doing the right thing with your daughter. We are doing that with our 14 year old. He pays for his own phone bill. We did it for a while but it’s not a necessary thing so we’re making him pay for it.
Glad I’m not alone with that thinking.

  2. I have no idea why or how someone could forget their child. It’s beyond my comprehension. I suppose people could go on auto pilot, but how could someone not notice?

  3. I definitely think it’s ridiculous that people will remember their phones before they will remember their kids. Of course this isn’t true of all people, and I’m sure the parents end up regretting it for the rest of their lives, but I just don’t understand. I always go to get my kids out of the car.. even when I actually don’t have them in the car.

  4. Oh goodness, I had a few articles up, read them, had to attend to my child, and then came back to comment. You are right! I made the wrong comment to your thread. I apologize. Not funny what so ever. It is despicable that people can “forget” they put a child in the car. So many people are not fit to become parents. We require people to be a certain age to rent a car and to take tests for many various jobs, but for a parent? Only the most important job there. Raising humans to fill our planet.

  5. I agree with this! I don’t understand as a mother how you could forget your child. They say to leave something important in the back seat like a shoe… how is your child less important than your shoes? Makes me sick! I am constantly looking in my back seat for my baby even when she’s not with me! I’ll never understand!

  6. Where to start…. I mostly agree with you on what you wrote, but there are some parents out there who are wonderful parents. In a lot of the cases I’ve read about, the parent didn’t normally have their child for that time and it was usually the other parent who would take the child. Sometimes people go on auto-pilot. I don’t understand how they could forget their child, personally, all three of mine always made themselves known so if I forgot about them, I did it on purpose(I have never EVER done that on purpose, just trying to make an inappropriate joke).

For the other thing, there’s an episode on Grey’s Anatomy (I think) where they have a mother who comes in and they (the doctors) buy the baby from her. It’s something that they do every time she comes in because she’s a crackhead whose babies are always strung out at birth. She never uses birth control and the babies keep coming like she’s an assembly line- it’s deplorable, I know. There are so many things that an be done, like implant an IUD, although, I don’t know how reliable they are with drug use. Some may turn around and do better, most won’t. Maybe sterilization is the best thing to do.

    1. I never said that there weren’t some good parents out there… lol. And yes, I don’t think that would have too much affect on someone who is on drugs.

  7. so funny! Being a mom of a toddler is not always easy!

    1. I don’t think you actually read this post… It has nothing to do with toddlers and this is actually kind of a serious post….
